The project “Development of Natural Language Processing technology for language and writing correction in English” was developed in 2024 as part of the 2023 Call for Start-up Grants, funded by the Community of Madrid and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
During its implementation, a system based on Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (NLP) was deployed to detect and correct spelling, grammatical, and stylistic errors in real time. Through deep learning models and word embeddings, the system offers contextual suggestions, tone analysis, and automatic rephrasing to improve writing quality.
In addition, synonym suggestion tools and an AI-assisted layer were developed, optimizing written communication in business, educational, and creative environments. Thanks to these advances, Correcto facilitates more accurate and consistent writing, democratizing access to advanced linguistic correction technology.
